I TOTALLY AGREE. THE COUNCIL SHOULD PAY FOR ALL MR WHITE'S COSTS INCLUDING THE BUILDING COST, PLANNING COSTS, LEGAL COSTS AND THE DAMAGE TO HIS BUSINESS AND WASTE OF HIS TIME. THIS IS A COUNCIL GONE MADE WITH MALADMINISTRATION AND INJUSTICE. IM TOTALLY DISGUSTED. ITS A GOOD LOOKING BUILDING TOO.

I think the council know they are in direct fire of a large lawsuit. From a practical perspective Mr White should put in plans to modify the barn ( tone it down a bit ) which the council subject to negotiation should agree to. Then whatever those mods cost, the council should pay for.
