Mr White, ive got no sympathy for you. Lets get real about this mess. OK.....agreed the planners gave you the official green light to build your barn and yes they approved the drawings and plans as well. The problem here is that you built a castle and called it a barn. Im not interested in hearing moaning about the way in which the Council granted approvals and signed of the plans. You are right in law, and you clearly have a big claim against the sloppy local council for maladministration who didnt do their jobs ight in the first place, but come on....... dont you think the building is a bit too castle looking to be an every day barn ? You should have built it nice and simple and you wouldnt have local busybodies giving you grief now. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES.

SURELY YOUR LOCAL COUNCIL COULD HAVE NEGOTIATED CHANGES TO THE BARN DESIGN BEFORE IT WAS PHYSICALLY BUILT. WHY DID THEY WAIT UNIL IT WAS FINISHED. I DONT SEE HOW THIS LOCAL COUNCIL CAN DEFEND THEMSELVES AGAINST MALADMINISTRATION.

I thought the job of Councillors was to enforce NIMBYism within their own village ? Oh, sorry, I meant to say "within villages", silly me for contemplating that a Councillor might actually live near to this development in Swithland and have something to do with this stinking filthy mess. One question you must always ask about Council planning officers is HOW DO YOU NO IF THEY ARE LYING.................The answer is BECAUSE THEIR LIPS ARE MOVING. You have my sympathy as everyone who has had to regularly deal with Councils Planning Departments knows planners are duplicitus faced termological inexactituders of doubtful parentage. thanks and good luck.
